Cant CMD+C Out of Hung Deployment

My runtime deployment is hanging due to bugs, but I noticed I cant CMD+C out of it and it takes a really long time to time out.

Not sure what we want here, but I wanted to note it cause its very frustrating to lose a terminal window when runtime hangs.
